Donation towards the costs to produce the clips for the website

The SADF Military Veterans Interviews Proprietary Limited, Registration number 2020/041167/07 is the company tasked with producing the clips for the website.

The filming of the interviews with the military veterans is one aspect of the process to produce the clips for the website. The editing of the interviews and other existing material into clips for the 16 topics, the uploading thereof on Vimeo, the capturing of the details for each clip on the database and the linking of the clips to the website are time consuming and require devoted time and committed personnel.

The purpose of The Stories of the SADF Military Veterans Foundation NPC, Registration number 2019/466755/08 is to make it possible for the production company to perform its duties. If you want to contribute to the costs of the production of these clips you are welcome to donate any amount from R250 or more as a once-off amount to the Non Profit Company. This Non Profit Company will shortly be registered as Public Benefit Organisation. This will then allow donations to the company to be a tax-deductible expense in terms of Section 18A of the Income Tax Act, 1962 (No 58 of 1962), provided that the donation does not exceed 10% of the donor’s taxable income. As soon as this is done, The Stories of the SADF Military Veterans Foundation NPC, Registration number 2019/466755/08 will be able to issue the necessary Section 18(A) tax certificates to the donors.

In the meantime you are welcome to still make a donation towards the filming of an interview with a military veteran, or the editing of existing material for publication on the website, albeit for now without this tax benefit.

Please complete the information here below and a director of The Stories of the SADF Military Veterans Foundation NPC will contact you to complete this process.
